How long have you worked with Beauty Works?
I’ve worked with Beauty Works since 2016. I first started working with the brand when I was working from home in my apartment! I instantly felt that this brand was different – they just understood what the customer wanted.
What do you think makes Beauty Works different from competitors?
I absolutely love the quality of Beauty Works hair, and for me, no other brand can come close to it. I also think the hair is the perfect texture, as it blends with straight hair or curly hair, making it super versatile. The colour range is incredible as well – it’s something that’s really unique to Beauty Works as there’s just so much choice.
What do you think the 2024 hair trends will be?
I think in 2024 we’re going to explore the ‘Italian bob’ thing a bit more. This is a blunt bob that stops halfway down the neck. I think mid-length hair, around 18 inches, is also having a bit of a resurgence. It’s long but not super long, so you can wear it in beachy waves or style it so it’s big and bouncy. With regards to colour, we’re going to see a lot of cool brown bases with dark highlights – the expensive brunette look.
What hair concerns can you solve by using hair extensions on your clients?
A lot of my clients want to keep up with the latest colour trends without damaging their hair, so we often use extensions to lighten/darken their hair. Extensions are also great for making sure the hair holds the style and doesn’t go limp or flat.
What is your favourite hair extension method?
Tape Extensions – I love how gentle they are. They’re also super quick to apply and are perfect for adding subtle highlights.
What is your favourite Beauty Works hair extension shade?
Mocha Melt, a balayage shade that contains both honey and caramel shades to give contrast to its Mocha brown root.
What do you think is the most underrated Beauty Works extension shade?
Scandinavian Blonde or Champagne Blonde – I love mixing these two shades together.
