At Beauty Works, we believe hair is about so much more than how you look. It can be closely tied to identity, confidence and the way you feel about yourself every day.
That’s why we’re incredibly proud to support Little Lady Locks, a charity dedicated to helping children and young people experiencing hair loss. Their work provides much-needed hair loss solutions and support, helping young people feel more comfortable, confident and like themselves during what can be an incredibly difficult time.
As part of our partnership, Beauty Works donates hair to help create wigs, as well as supplying hair toppers that can be used with Little Lady Locks’ specialist headbands. By using our products and expertise in hair, we’re able to support the charity in creating natural-looking, wearable solutions designed specifically for children and young people experiencing hair loss.
For us, this partnership is about using what we do best to make a positive difference. Hair is at the heart of Beauty Works, and we’re proud to be able to give our products a greater purpose by supporting Little Lady Locks and the families who rely on their incredible work.
A wig or hair topper may seem like a small thing, but for a young person experiencing hair loss, it can help restore a sense of normality, individuality and confidence. We’re honoured to play a part in helping Little Lady Locks continue to provide these solutions to those who need them.
BECAUSE SOMETIMES, HAIR CAN MEAN SO MUCH MORE.

ABOUT LITTLE LADY LOCKS.
Little Lady Locks was founded in 2018 by hair loss specialist Ashley Higgins, whose work with adult clients opened her eyes to the lasting impact childhood hair loss can have on confidence, self-esteem and emotional wellbeing.
Through conversations with her clients, Ashley repeatedly heard difficult stories of bullying, isolation and feeling different, often made harder by the lack of affordable hair loss solutions available to children and their families.
Determined to make a difference, Ashley began trialling hair replacement systems with young people experiencing hair loss. Seeing the transformation in their confidence, and the positive impact it had on their families, became the inspiration behind Little Lady Locks.
What began as a desire to help a small number of children has since grown into a charity dedicated to ensuring young people experiencing hair loss can access high-quality solutions, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances.
Today, Little Lady Locks creates, supplies and fits wigs and hair replacement systems, alongside specialist hats, accessories and headbands with hair extensions designed to help disguise areas of hair loss.
Every hair service provided by Little Lady Locks is completely free of charge to children and young people under the age of 18 experiencing hair loss anywhere in the UK.
At the heart of the charity is a simple belief: no child should have to feel isolated or lose their confidence because of their hair. Through their work, Little Lady Locks helps young people feel comfortable, confident and more like themselves again.
