I think we can all agree that Euphoria Season 2 has been a rollercoaster. The show has continued to explore it’s deep and dark themes, which can sometimes be a lot to take in. But with the meme-worthy moments and most importantly, the stunning hair, makeup and wardrobe looks, season 2 has got the Beauty Works office talking.
Euphoria season 2 styling is giving all the nostalgic 90’s and y2k inspo. From Maddy’s iconic New Years look in the first episode to Cassie trying every style possible to get Nate’s attention, us viewers have been served a lot of inspiration, so it’s no surprise that Euphoria-inspired looks have gone viral again. With the Season Finale on Sunday, we’ve decided to round up some of our favourite looks from season 2.
Maddy’s zig-zag headband
We have to start with arguably the most iconic look of the season. Who other than Maddy Perez could convince everyone that zig-zag headbands are back. Recreating this hairstyle is super easy, just brush your hair back with a Bristle Brush and saturate the hairline with Hair Spray. Place the zig zag headband into your hair and once you’re happy with the position, set your baby hairs with more hairspray. Top tip: to add more volume, backcomb the hair behind the headband.
The zig-zag headband is clearly here to stay, with the nostalgic 90’s favourite featuring in the David Koma A/W 2022 Show, where Beauty Works were the official hair sponsors.
Cassie’s bubble braid pony
Cassie has had more than a few questionable moments this season (still scarred from the hot tub scene) but there is no denying that she has served some looks. Cassie’s style is a mix of sweet and sexy and our favourite hairstyle of Cassie’s, the bubble braid pony, is the perfect combination of both. Lexi’s soft curls
Lexi finally had her time to shine and we’re here for it. This season Lexi has gained some confidence and we loved seeing her preppy looks as she flirted with Fezco or witnessed one of Cassie’s breakdowns. Maddy’s waved low pony
We have to include one more look from Maddy and it’s from one of the funniest scenes in the show, where we got to see all of the Euphoria girls together.
