How long have you worked with Beauty Works?
I’ve been working with Beauty Works for around 8 years. I started working with Beauty Works on campaigns and now it’s got to a point where we’re travelling the world!
Do you have any advice for someone starting out in the hair industry?
My advice for anyone starting out is to really stick to your niche - I find that it’s so hard to be an all-rounder nowadays. I started out in colour, then it went to extensions and then it went to styling, but I’ve taken so many different elements from all those areas and implemented them into one.
What do you think makes Beauty Works different from competitors?
In my opinion, Beauty Works are in a league of their own. Whenever I’m styling a celebrity client’s hair, I always have the reassurance that Beauty Works are going to deliver on quality. There’s so many different colours and methods to choose from, and they’re always bringing out new innovative products.
What do you think 2024 hair trends will be?
I love the short, layered bob that we’re seeing a lot of at the moment. I feel like it’s a revival of the 90’s blowout but on shorter hair.
What hair concerns can you solve by using hair extensions on your clients?
Colour damage or damage from a haircut, as extensions are great to add brightness around your face or reintroduce that length. If you don’t want to chemically colour your hair, extensions are a great way to work around that without damaging the condition of your own hair.
What are some of your Career highlights?
Recently working with Selena Gomez and Nicola Peltz Beckham in Paris. Also working with Kendall Jenner - she took me on a Kardashian trip! We went to Cannes Film Festival & Monaco for the F1 which was crazy.
What is your favourite hair extension method?
Clip-ins! They blend so well, I can customise them as I go along, and I can give my client a new look every time I do their hair. I also love the new Express-Weft for speed, volume, and length.
What is your favourite Beauty Works hair extension shade?
Honey Blonde, which features a gold base, with blends caramel brown and light sun-kissed blonde perfectly together to create a balance of fine blended honey blonde.
What do you think is the most underrated Beauty Works extension shade?
LA Blonde – I love warmer toned blondes.
